Fur Capture

Over the course of several years, Radiant Heart developed a proprietary technique to expertly capture a small area of fur from your pet. The captured fur is exactly as it appears on your pet. This technique allows us to save specific fur patterns as well as the feel of your pet’s fur.

This is not a pelt collection — your pet’s skin is not cut or otherwise harmed.

We isolate a section of fur, hold it in place using a special tape, and then remove it by very carefully cutting the base of the fur with a professional grooming tool. The fur is then transferred and adhered to frameable cardstock using a water-proof clear silicone. Once dry the tape is removed.  The result is a captured section of fur.

This is a wonderful alternative (or addition) to our traditional fur clipping service, and it is a unique and meaningful way to remember your pet.
