Iceberg Blue Opal & Gray Burl Pet Urn

This unique and gorgeous little urn was made from burl wood that was turned on a wood lathe and dyed gray. Iceberg blue synthetic opal was inlayed into one primary natural inclusion to produce a gorgeous geode effect. The complimentary nature of the natural burl design, the gray wood and the blue opal is just wonderful!
The wood was finished with several coats of satin lacquer, sanded in between coats and then buffed and polished by hand.
