Clay Paw Print & Easel

At Radiant Heart, we combine patience, care, and refined technique to create truly exceptional clay paw prints.

While most pet parents choose a traditional paw (claw or foot) impression, we can also capture other meaningful details. For example, bearded dragon families often request tail or head profile impressions.

For nose prints, we strongly recommend our Nose Leather Casting option instead of a clay impression.

We believe your pet’s clay print should last a lifetime. That’s why we use Sculpey Original White Polymer Clay (see note below), which allows us to capture incredibly fine detail and, once baked, becomes highly durable and resistant to breakage.

After carefully shaping a clean, detailed impression, the piece is baked, cooled, and then meticulously sanded—both by machine and by hand. We then gently wash the print and use a dental pick to remove any remaining debris. Any imperfections outside the impression are corrected, followed by additional backing and sanding to ensure a smooth, polished finish.

Once approved by a senior staff member, the print is sent to a local engraver for precise laser engraving. After engraving, holes are added for a ribbon display (if you prefer no holes, just let us know).

Each clay print comes with a complimentary black wooden easel, perfect for displaying your pet’s keepsake.

Note: While some polymer clays are formulated specifically for the pet after-care industry—with additives that make them softer and faster to work with—they often sacrifice detail. At Radiant Heart, we choose to invest the extra time, effort, and cost in using Sculpey Original to ensure every print captures the highest level of detail possible.
