Jill Feenstra
Jill Feenstra is a talented local artist living and working in Ferndale, WA. Her paintings are bright and vivid, sometimes playful, and always produced with a strong graphic hand.
Jill’s oil and acrylic pet portraits are painted on stretched canvas, and each piece is treated with an archival UV-blocking spray. Jill frames each portrait with spruce or hemlock, and the wood frame is stained either a satin espresso or gloss black.
She also works in watercolor.
Each work is a signed original.
Artist statement: “As a fur parent myself, I can relate to the deep love that comes with a close friendship with a pet, and also the painful sense of loss when one leaves us. I would be happy to help you remember your friend with a lovingly made pet portrait.”
