For years, families from across the United States have contacted Radiant Heart Pet Cremation & Memorials hoping we could create one of our signature memorials—such as our lifelike muzzle, paw and ear castings.

These beautiful keepsakes can be finished in a porcelain-like white polymer gypsum, hand-painted to faithfully match your pet’s unique markings, or copper plated to create a distinctive memorial that will last for generations.

Unfortunately, these memorials require access to a pet’s body shortly after passing, making them impractical for most families living outside the Pacific Northwest.

Because of transportation restrictions for deceased pets, the only option was often to bring a beloved companion to Bellingham, Washington—something that simply wasn’t possible for many families.

Then a family in Atlanta, Georgia asked a simple question:

“What if someone here could learn to make the molds under your guidance?”

That conversation inspired our Video Conferencing Training Program.

Today, we can work with your local pet cremation provider, veterinary clinic, funeral professional, or even a trusted friend or family member to create the specialized molds needed for many of Radiant Heart’s most treasured memorials.

How It Works

1. Tell us what you’d like created.

We’ll discuss the memorial you’re interested in and determine which supplies are needed.

2. We prepare and ship your training kit.

Your kit contains the professional materials needed to create the mold, along with prepaid return packaging if you would like Radiant Heart to complete the casting process.

3. Schedule your private training session.

Once the kit arrives, the person creating the mold contacts us to arrange the one-on-one video conference training sessions.

4. Learn alongside us.

Using video conferencing, we create the same mold in real time while guiding you through each step. Because we can watch your technique as you work, we provide immediate feedback, tips, and corrections to help achieve the best possible results.

5. Choose how your memorial is completed.

After the molds have been created, you have two options:

• Complete the casting locally, or
• Return the molds to Radiant Heart using the prepaid shipping materials, where we can create the finished castings and, if desired, arrange for painted or copper-plated keepsakes.
