PURCHASING PET CREMATION SERVICES

While Radiant Heart does sell pet cremation services directly to pet parents, a majority of Radiant Heart’s pet cremation customers come to us from our Referring Veterinary Service Providers (VSPs).

Radiant Heart sells wholesale pet cremations services to Referring VSPs who then re-sell our pet cremation services to their clients. This is the most common way pet cremation services are sold throughout the United States. Wholesale pet cremationaccounts for 80% of Radiant Heart’s cremation sales.

Referring VSPs set their own pricing for pet cremation, and a majority use Radiant Heart’s suggested retail pricing or lower pricing. However, it is common for VSPs to bundle euthanasia and pet cremation services. (In-home euthanasia providers also sometimes include fees in this bundle for transporting the pet to Radiant Heart.)  Therefore, when comparing VSP pricing, it may not initially be obvious to a pet parent that they are paying the same, or less than, Radiant Heart’s retail pricing for pet cremation when purchasing end-of-life care from a Referring VSP.

When Radiant Heart sells pet cremation services directly to pet parents, it is typically only when the pet parents are 100% certain that they will not need end-of-life care from one of Radiant Heart’s Referring VSPs or when a pet dies at home by natural causes.

It is common for Radiant Heart to sell pet cremation services directly to pet parents who use a VSP not on our Referring VSP list.  Most VSPs are very kind about allowing Radiant Heart to pick up pets from their facility, regardless of the pet cremation service that they utilize.
